The Grand Quarts 4843 boasts all the functionality of the King Quartz 4823 (jeweled seconds jumper, temperature compensation adjustment, etc.) but with an improved accuracy to +-5 seconds a month! Additionally, the 4843 movements are individualized with a serial number. The case and dial of this particular Grand Quartz are both refined and unique among those on offer at the time. The Zaratsu polishing of this example is bright and the lines are sharp. There is little in the way of dings, pitting or scratches. The hands and dial are something special as well. Highly legible stick hands are striped with white lines, as are the hour markers. They sit on top of a dark blue patterned relief dial. This combination of elements give the watch, along with its metal bracelet, a sporty look. It is however, still quite substantial and luxurious in feel.
Considering its functionality and accuracy, It might very well be the perfect daily wearer, a set it and forget it piece… at least until the complements roll in.

Inner dial retaining ring not included. Will include on request if available. Why?
Sternkreuz High Quality Mineral Crystal: This crystal is dimensionally the same as the original, depleted Seiko OEM crystal.
“Seiko” Signed Bracelet: The original bracelet should have a GQ on the clasp rather than SEIKO, however the bracelet itself is stylistically quite similar to the original GQ one.
